Figured it was about time I updated this thing. When did I last write in my DA journal anyway...?

Well lets see. My fall semester ended over at the DM building. Even though I had tons of homework for those last few weeks, I'm having oodles of fun and I absolutely love my professors there. My classmates are interesting to hang around as well. I'm a little sad though because I still can't seem to remember all their names yet. D: I think that might be important to remember since I'll be working with them for the next year and a half.

Well those funny structure projects that I complained about back in August were minor successes. They actually held the brick! ....Although they were completely off balance for the most part. D< I'm so glad I got an A in that class. It wasn't exactly hard, but it was more on the time consuming/tedious side. Especially when you have several things due that day.

I've also found out that my fortes are in the frame by frame animation area(Paper animations!). Storytelling is a maybe. Sculpting out the environments and making them fit in the world is a little bit on the 'meh' side, and I've realized that certain programs such as Maya and Shake don't work well with me. But hey, I've actually learned a lot this year. ^_^ So I'm happy.

OH! Our class is on pre-production for a new 3-D animation that we're planning on doing for the rest of our time there. It's called "Atlas's Revenge", and it's about a little coffee table (We've dubbed Atlas), his giant centerpiece vase (It looks like a globe), and a bunch of mean stools. We already have the music down for it (well, the music was pre-made, so we have a set amount of time for the animation already.), and the storyboard ideas mostly fleshed out. From what I've heard, Spring semester we're learning how to rig 3D models and animate with them (Instead of spinning them around in Maya. D: ).

.....Problem is, I've also heard that spring semester in Junior year is friggin hard. D: Also found out that I'm gonna be over there until past dark. Not looking forward to it since the road connecting to Livingston is Parramore.

For those people who don't know: Parramore is one of the most dangerous streets in Orlando. Even though the crime is dropping a bit down there now that they've placed more police officers in that area, there's still a lot of murders/robberies/car thefts/drug operations. Especially with that shooting of the delivery guy a few weeks ago. So I'm not really for staying there past dark. But hey, at least there's safety in numbers..D:

Speaking of. I'm still not completely over my paranoia from that burglary back in July. D: I don't think I'll ever be rid of it. D< If there's noises outside my window, I have this tendency to peek through and check to see if it's alright. Truthfully, I don't think I feel safe in this neighborhood anymore...>__<' I wish the police were a lot more concerned about our area. Heck, I wish this place was like it was back in the day when little kids could screw around until dark and everybody was so friggin polite.

D: *sigh* those were the good times...*feels like an old fart*

ANYWAY. Off that depressing topic.

There's a bunch of stray cats in my backyard!!! D: So far I've counted 4, I think. The one I've seen most often is a kitty I've dubbed "Lady". Except I don't know if it's a girl or a boy. >_>'' For now, I think it's a girl. D: I like the kitty too. She's just loves to be petted. If someone is nearby, she'll brush up against whatever is closest to her or roll around in the dirt as if someone was petting her. Her meow is like a siren though..D: and it's really loud. Gosh I've never seen such a needy cat like her before.

Mom wont let me keep her though. Although she has wandered into the house once already (and mom shooed her out..XD That's what she gets for leaving the porch door open.) and I'm basically feeding her and all the other kitties outside. Oh well.

Starting up doodling again. Trying to get a grasp of an art style that doesn't look too anime and failing miserably at achieving that goal..D: I've also had a friend ask for me to make a design for security shirts that these guys would be wearing for AFO. I'm thinking 'Security Ninjas', but I can't think of a good slogan to put on the back.

Ah yes. Fuu is in need of his Kiriban picture that has been long due. That will be up shortly now that I have time to draw. Unfortunately since I'm dallying around with art styles, the picture might look wonky. (D: Sorry Fuu!!)

I'll also put up my Flash Animation. when I've figured out how to do scripting for the buttons and adding a loading bar as well.

Er...well. I'll put a link up to it here. The music is kinda against DA rules since it's copyrighted though..D:

I *might* also put up my demo reel on Youtube or something for you people's to see with the frame by frame animations that I've done...D: Not exactly proud of the first few animations I've done..=_=

Christmas Shopping is carving a hole into my wallet. o.o But I don't mind since most of the money I'm using is birthday money that my friends sent me. >_>' Did I mention I turned 21 a while ago? I suppose not. Hee. It's nothing major though, since I refuse to drink alcohol.

I finally got myself a new DVD drive and I've actually managed to dismantle my computer, install the drive, then put the thing back together without any major problems.. D: My computer hasn't blown up so far, so I guess I'm in the clear for now.....I think...*warily glances at her computer*

The reason why I've even decided to do something like this is because of Neverwinter Nights 2 Expansion, Mask of the Betrayer. Pfft. I bought it for my birthday only to find that it was a PC DVD-ROM. Lovely. I also believe it was SOLELY for DVD as well. D: But hey, Phantom Hourglass occupied my time so it wasn't a major loss. And both of them are good games. =___= *just beat the expansion and is feeling content about the romance option she chose* I kinda wanna do more fan art. But I really should do some original work.

*wonders if there's anything else she should add for now* ....D: Hmm...
